Using Partiview
Using Partiview
This chapter will give you a hands-on tutorial of Partiview. Using several generic data sets as examples, we provide easy, step-by-step demonstrations of Partiview in sections that group similar features and capabilities. This, in turn, will allow you to become familiar with Partiview's commands and user interface.
All of the data used in this chapter is from the Partiview User's Guide Data sets and resides in the mandata folder. This includes the Test Data, the Complex Data, and the Sample Data. The Complex Data is a slightly more complex version of the Test Data while the Sample Data is a larger, spherically distributed data set consisting of about 10,000 particles. We will use all of these data sets to demonstrate Partiview's commands and features.
