The American Museum of Natural History hosted a meeting in mid-September with scientists and engineers from around the country and the world to determine scientific goals for two major new space missions to seek out planets similar to the Earth. The public was invited to learn more directly from the scientists on this team about the purpose and scope of these new missions as well as what we might expect to find after launch. Members of the Mission Science Definition Team, including lead project scientist Dr. Wes Traub, was present to add to the discussion and answer questions.
